This free event will provide information on the EU Settlement Scheme and what it means for employers.
The UK left the EU on 31 January 2020 and is in a transition period until the end of the year. EU nationals and their family members need to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme before 30 June 2021 to secure their rights in the UK, including the right to work, to rent a property or to access services.
To inform local businesses about how these changes can impact their EU workforce, Citizens Advice Wandsworth are holding a free online information session (a presentation followed by questions & answers) about the EU Settlement Scheme.
The session will cover:
- How Brexit will affect EU nationals living in the UK
- How to apply under the EU Settlement Scheme (settled and pre-settled status)
- Employers and the EU Settlement Scheme
