In times of crisis, the importance of leadership and communication comes to the fore. That has never been truer than right now, with leaders needing to communicate clearly, authentically and empathetically with teams working remotely and those working hard in the field and on the frontline, often in the same organisation.
The uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, not knowing when and how lockdown will end or what this will mean for organisations in the long-term, makes things even harder.
Join CIPD and their panel of expert leaders to discuss how people teams can best support their organisations through communications and how leaders can best get their message across during this unprecedented time.
CIPD Chief Executive, Peter Cheese, will discuss the importance of leadership and offer advice on how people teams can best support their leaders through communication during this time.
David Frost, organisational development director of Total Produce, will offer insight into how leaders in his global organisation are communicating across markets and regions, and how HR is helping.
And Dominic Walters, leadership communications consultant and former chairman of the Institute of Internal Communication, will offer some practical tips and guidance on getting leadership communication right during times of crisis and uncertainty.
The session will be chaired by CIPD senior stakeholder lead, Katie Jacobs, and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions. You can submit these in advance to Communications@cipd.co.uk.
Please note there is a maximum of 1000 spaces available for the webinar. Book here.
