The London Borough of Wandsworth created the exciting Making Business Greener scheme to encourage businesses to understand & measure their carbon footprint! The aim is to help them thrive in a changing landscape while also helping them take advantage of the benefits of sustainability, such as reduced energy bills and increased engagement.

Making Business Greener Scheme

Making Business Greener is a joint initiative, launched by Wandsworth Council in partnership with Green Mark. It offers the opportunity for businesses to understand and improve their environmental impact, and develop a structured framework for fostering sustainable business growth.

Businesses can fully control their environmental impact through an on-site audit conducted by the Green Mark sustainability professionals, pledging to improve their sustainability, carbon calculations, and the action-driven Green Mark Accreditation program. As part of its initiatives, the council aims to provide support & establish a network of businesses working together to make the borough greener.
