When you have done the markets and some DTC sales, there comes a time to take your business to the next level and sell to some retailers whether that is your local independent deli, Wholefoods or even the biggest UK multiple – Tesco!
This workshop will help you get ready to pitch – helping you to understand how to make that first approach, write a killer sales presentation and negotiate that deal. We will even do an exercise to help you calm those selling nerves!

Please note this is all about the selling and pitching. We will not be covering how to get retailer ready e.g. what accreditation you need, packaging requirements etc. although Karen will be available to answer your questions at the end.

She has enabled several businesses to move from kitchen table to third party manufacturers and knows exactly how to make it work and how to avoid the inevitable pitfalls.
She is the author of the best selling book “Recipe for Success – the ingredients of a profitable food business”. She is speaks regularly at events such as IFE, National Convenience show and delivers workshops for Virgin Start-Up, Enterprise Nation and others. Karen also runs a Retailer Ready group coaching programme and is a Mission Kitchen mentor.
