Recognising businesswomen who are making a substantial difference to the local Wandsworth community

This award is open to purpose-led businesses which are bringing about positive change. Nominees in this category can be individuals, companies, non-profit organisations, charities, social enterprises, community projects/trusts or community interest companies (50% female-owned) which have made – and continue to make – an outstanding contribution to the Wandsworth community.

Entrepreneur of the Year

Recognising impactful and influential female business leaders.

This award is for founders running limited businesses, sole-traders or self-employed individuals who have been established for more than two years.

The judges will recognise entrepreneurs that demonstrate an ability to grow their business and show a clear understanding of the market in which their business operates. The judges will be interested to learn how the entrepreneur’s personal leadership has led to business expansion, innovation or outstanding diversity and inclusion. They are also looking to understand how the business has adapted, diversified, contributed to the community and survived during the pandemic.

Rising Star

Recognising ambitious young women who are future trailblazers and an inspiration to the next generation

This award recognises women under the age of 34 who have started their own business, developed an idea and are well on their way to success.

The judges will be looking for stories of seized opportunities, dynamic responses to setbacks and a growth mindset.
